Can you tell me 7 facts about yourself? - Something Crunchy Mum

I once worked on a psychic hotline, but I couldn't have predicted...

...that I would fall in love with a man that worked as a cricket club team mascot and dressed up as a giant bear.

I married him anyway, in fact we eloped which saved a lot on invitations.

Which came in handy when our son was born three years later. Roscoe was named after the Midlake song of the same name but I rarely listen to it because it makes me so emotional.

Baked beans also make me emotional. I loathe the smell, the taste and texture, but I still feed them to my son because that's how great a mum I am.

I wish Judge Judy was my mum. I try to schedule nap time to coincide with catching a couple of cases.

Speaking of cases, I regularly plan my packing for hypothetical journeys and have lists on my phone such as 'my packing for a weekend in the country'.

  1. Nooo baked beans RULE! I love that you still feed them to your son even though you don't like them! My daughter loves olives, I buy them for her weekly even though the smell alone will make my tummy turn
Lovely finding your blog and learning a few things about you from this one post alone xx

    1. Ooh your little lady has mature tastes. Thanks so much for stopping by xx

  2. Thank you for the nomination. I've only just seen it, sorry! I shall try to think of some blog to nominate that haven't already done it :-)

P.S. My husband thinks I'm weird because I can't deal with the texture of baked beans. I'm glad I'm not the only one!!

  3. Beans are so wrong! Everyone else has been brainwashed :)

  4. Aw how nice. Great facts. It's not weird with the baked beans. My eldest is like that. Can't stand them. Although he's alright with other tomatoes based foods like hoops etc. Must just be the bean bit.

  5. I can deal with other tomato based tinned food as well! People often say they can't understand how I can eat hoops and not beans and I'm like, they're COMPLETELY different.
