Mission Acceptance

I'm a solution seeker, a truth monger; I try to put the ping in keeping it real. When faced with a question, my own or someone elses, I look for the answer behind the answer and then I scrape the old paint off that answer and see what's underneath.

And what I think I've found is that the pearl in the tricky little oyster that is life, is acceptance. You can't lose the weight if you don't acknowledge it; you can't heal your child if you won't hear their hurt. Of course if this acceptance lark was easy everyone would be doing it - acceptance isn't a journey, it's mission.

That's why next year I'll be embarking on Mission Acceptance, a series of weekly challenges throughout a year of learning to live with myself. Start your own mission and join me on each challenge! Sign up for updates below (remember to check your promotions folder to find me).

  1. Loved stumbling on your blog courtesy of #abitofeverything. I'm at that stage in my life where I'm finally accepting of myself and becoming more confident. Having a child has helped this no end. It was a lightbulb moment. It's freed up so much time/energy to get on with the important things in life.
